Employee Spotlight: Moran Zur, Regional Manager, Europe & Israel, ViewTrade

If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be and why?
I think the best word would be “passionate.” I’m a big believer in results, and the best results usually happen when you do things out of passion. I have always enjoyed working in the financial market, and I think all my colleagues can sense that I see a very strong connection between working with passion and achieving the best results.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
It would definitely always be loyal to yourself. I think when your heart and your actions are aligned, you will achieve the best results, and anything you do will likely have the best outcome. You should always surround yourself with people who will tell you how things can be done, not why they can’t. That’s the most important thing to me.

What skill do you think will be essential for the future of this industry?
That’s a very good question. I strongly believe that the most important skill to acquire in the future to be successful will be asking the right questions. In this age of AI, when all the answers seem to be out there, asking the right questions will be the key to success and accuracy. That’s how you get the best results.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
Although I’ve spent most of my life in finance, I recently published a novel in memory of my beloved wife, who passed away eight years ago from cancer. The novel was very successful in Israel, and it has recently been translated into English. You should look it up under the name “Before You Leave.” It will definitely change everything you thought you knew about life and death.
