What was your first job?
My first job in the industry was as a financial research assistant. I was responsible for collecting and analyzing information on individual equities for portfolios and presenting those insights to brokers. It was an amazing experience that taught me how to gather and present data in a way that could directly influence investment decisions. That role opened many doors for me as I continued to grow in the industry.

What excites you about financial technology today?
One of the most exciting developments in fintech today is the use of AI. It has enabled firms to enhance their products and promote greater financial inclusivity, giving smaller investors better access to the markets. AI has also streamlined time-intensive processes like KYC and trade execution, making it a real game changer for financial professionals.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
I would tell my younger self to embrace failure. In sales, you often have to hear a lot of “no’s” before you get a “yes.” But if you stay committed to your plan and work hard, success will follow—even if it doesn’t seem like it at first.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
People might be surprised to learn that I enjoy cooking. It’s a hobby I really value. I spend time on weekends experimenting with new recipes and flavors, and I love sharing the results with family and friends. It’s a great way to relax and recharge outside of work.
