Employee Spotlight: Eunice Chang, System Analyst, ViewTrade

What’s something you do so well that you’ve made it look effortless, even though it really isn’t?
I would say making complex information look clear and easy for others to understand. A lot of time goes into preparing for that—whether it’s creating materials for meetings, doing research, or organizing everything into a clear report for my colleagues.

Behind the scenes, there’s a lot of effort involved: organizing the details, making sure everything is accurate, and checking that the logic makes sense. That preparation is what makes it look effortless in the end.

What’s your go-to excuse when you need a five-minute sanity break?
I’d say grabbing a coffee or getting a quick snack. Sometimes I’ll ask my colleagues to come along so we can have a short chat as well—it’s a nice way to reset.

Coffee, confidence, or chaos—what fuels your morning?
Definitely confidence. I like to start my day knowing what I need to get done. Every morning, I make a to-do list with my tasks and deadlines, and I prioritize everything. That helps me stay focused and productive.

How do you keep your cool when the calendar looks like a game of Tetris?
When my calendar is really packed, I focus on organizing and prioritizing. I distinguish tasks based on importance and urgency, which helps me see what needs immediate attention. Once that’s clear, I can start working through things calmly and efficiently.

Who or what keeps you on your A-game when the week gets rough?
Desserts—and a good drama. After a long week or long working hours, I like to treat myself to something sweet, like chocolate cookies, homemade cookies, or a small cheesecake. It really helps me unwind.

How many browser tabs do you have open right now?
I think around 10 or 11. I usually have a lot of tabs open at the same time.
